Swedish Bowl

The Swedish Bowl is similar to the glass paperweight but students will be working with a blowpipe to add a hollow to their piece and then allowing the bubble to collapse creating a bowl shape in the center. This introductory class guides the first time glass artist through the most crucial skills. Students will learn how to gather glass from the furnace, how to shape and control, and how to apply color. In a fun and informative manner our instructors will introduce you to tools, safety and basic glass theory. Every student will leave with a gorgeous funky glass bowl and a strong foundation for future exploration. No experience necessary. All materials included.

Glass Pipe Sampler, One Hitter Chillums
Course Fee: $75

Class size limit: 9
In this introductory workshop students will learn how to heat borosilicate glass at a bench torch to create their very own chillum style glass pipe. Basic color application will also be introduced. No experience necessary.

Glass Fridays: Bud Jars and Dabber Sticks

On the last Friday of every month we welcome you to join us for an evening of glass, friends and wine. Spend three hours in our flameworking studio to experience an introductory taste of working with hot glass making Bud Jars and Dabber sticks.

Flameworked Marbles (2 Days)

In this class we will move from simple marbles to strategically placed elements to give the feel of outer-space, underwater , flowers and more. All are welcome, especially those who have taken some classes and want to improve their techniques for amazing results.

Funny Faces - Ages 6 and up
Course Fee: $35

Class size limit: 9
In this workshop students ages 6 and up will spend 1 hour making one to four fused glass funny faces. Think Mr. Potato Head but with glass, students will be given a blank face and bits and pieces of glass to make the eyes, nose and mouth. Pieces will need to bake in the kiln following the class, and will be ready for pick up a week after the class, shipping options available.

Stained Glass Decorative Mirror
Course Fee: $115

Learn the basic techniques to catch light with this Stained Glass instruction. Our experienced instructors will guide you through fundamental cutting, grinding and soldering exercises to making your very own Decorative Mirror.
