Toby Walters

Toby is a long standing fabric artist who fell in love with glass. She enjoys working with old glass, recycled glass or the broken shards of a meaningful glass to make them into new pieces of glass jewelry.

She pushes the limits of design to make more than simple beads. She is interested in new shapes and textures for beads, and unique jewelry designs. Toby was a scuba diver with over 300 dives so she often draws on that imagery.

Toby enjoys teaching beginning as well as experienced student glass both borosilicate and moretti glass. I believe a strong foundation in flameworking is important to continue in, and enjoy the experience.

Toby has had her work on display at the Concord Artist Association and at the Flatrocks Gallery in Gloucester.
